Bluff your way through a word you don't know — hidden-role party game
A hidden-role bluffing game where players "fake expertise" about a word whose meaning they don't know. The point isn't winning — it's having fun together. Wild, outrageous explanations are encouraged.
Everyone types in a word — one "probably only I know." In-game place names, foreign words, the made-up name of the strongest character you invented in middle school, an obscure machine part, etc.
A random word becomes the topic. Everyone presents its meaning. The submitter explains the real meaning convincingly; the others "play expert" and make one up. Speaking order is freeform, and questions are welcome.
Figure out which player knows the real meaning. Each player votes for one player as the submitter.
Highest score wins. Only those who received votes earn points. The submitter's vote isn't counted.
Make a convincing presentation that the others believe "this person knows the real meaning," earn the most votes, and you win
Try playing as many rounds as there are players, competing on total wins
